BP Titanium
BP Titanium is Best Practice Software’s cloud offering, set to replace it’s current 25-year old localhosted BP Premier. The biggest challenge to this project is convincing health providers to switch over.

UI / UX / Prototype / Workshops / Research / Testing

CHALLENGE
Being the sole designer in the company with dev teams new to AGILE and cloud development (majority of them were .net/C# developer working on the legacy product). Framework (ANT) was already selected with no input from design, limiting my options. Extremely loyal customer base, unwilling to change and distrusts technology. See legacy product here.
Outcome
By engaging with clients, slowly but surely convincing them that technology is not scary by roping them in to the usability process, and handholding them throughout the process and letting them experience the possibilities of cloud technology.
A lot of effort was put into helping the devs come up to speed on what UX is and buying stakeholder confidence through workshops, UX research showcases and brainstorm sessions.
PROCESS
Conduct discovery activities such as user needs research and mapping out user journeys & workflow
Actively support scrum master to successfully transition dev teams and wider business from waterfall to Agile best practice and LEAN UX
Conduct workshops and brainstorms with stakeholders and team and validate ideas with customers using prototypes
Design lo-fi prototypes together with other designers and developers for user testing
Convert lo-fi to hi-fi using ANT framework (design system) for desktop platform
Create & maintain customised internal design system for React mobile platform & SaaS
Introduced Zeplin to devs to help speed up frontend dev work and accuracy of UI component placement
